record number of participants and an
enthusiastic audience enjoyed a wonderful
afternoon of dancing and fashion while raising
funds for Boosters.

Pack-the-Place
was...
PACKED!!!
Boosters
had another successful
Pack-the-Place event on Friday, Jan 20 and
Saturday, Jan 21. With fun games and pasta
supplied by our friends at Barone's, a good time
was had by all.
Thanks
to Co-Chairs Lesli and John Brodner, Laurie and
Greg Reifel, and their small army of committee
members and helpers. Great job folks!

The Glenbard West Boosters would like to welcome you to the 2011-2012

Has Boosters Done So Far This Year?
With
planning for some activities beginning last
June, the Boosters had a busy
year...

Helped
school administrators with the book
sale.

Sold
ads and produced the VIP
student directory.
-
Had
a busy Homecoming, with a Thursday night social
at the Boat House,
a Friday golf
outing,
and Saturday pancake breakfast.
-
Produced
and sold sports
programs
at home football games.
-
Created
two mailings to alumni
soliciting
Boosters membership, including a first ever
"blast email".
-
Sold
LOTS of Glenbard
gear
(some on eBay!).
-
Sponsored
a kick-off Dillybar
giveaway
at the first home football game.
-
Winter
West Fest Dinner Dance at the Crown
Plaza.

Senior
Showcase at the Abbington.

Spirit
activities to generate attendance at extra
curricular functions.

Hitters Blaze of Glory
Support

This
unique, limited edition
print was commissioned by Ron & Mary Ann Aubrey
and painted by Gordon France, renowned local water
color artist. This print captures the
excitement of a Hitters game at Duchon Field, which
USA Today listed as one of the best places in America

In
the past 10 years, the Boosters have raised more
than $1,100,000 (!!!) for academic, athletics and
co-curricular
programs.
Last year was another successful fund-raising
year and thanks to the on-going generosity of
families and merchants in the GW community.
Funds were disbursed to support a wide
array of academic, athletic, and co-curricular
programs at Glenbard West, and our financial grants
touch nearly every student in a positive way.
