Senior Showcase March 7

Mark your calendars for the 2010 Senior Showcase to be held on Sunday, March 7. This is a fun event for seniors and a great way to highlight their high school career.

Tickets go on sale for the Glenbard West Boosters Senior Showcase at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9. 

Student tickets are available for $25 and adult tickets cost $35. Tables seat 10 and tickets may be purchased for an entire table or individually.  Tickets are available from Peggy Udelhofen at udelzoo@wowway.com. 

Pack the Place

Thanks to the many volunteers who helped out with this fun (and filling!) event.  We had a great turnout, exciting games, and wonderful food.  Special thanks to Terri Franke and her hard-working Committee, and Barone's of Glen Ellyn for the lotsa pasta!

Ron and Maryann Aubrey commissioned Gordon France, renowned local water color artist, to paint “Grand Finale at Lake Ellyn” to capture the excitement and family experience of our 4^th of July fireworks.   We also wished to create something Glen Ellyn for all those who live here to enjoy.  We hope it triggers a smile and a special memory every time you view it.

Booster Block Party

Thanks to all the volunteers who made the Booster Block Party at Bells & Whistles Snackery such a terrific success!  We had a great turnout and a good time was had by all.

2008/2009 year was another great year for the Glenbard West Boosters.

As the Boosters participated in or cheered on the many successes of our students, we also need to reflect on the successes last year brought our fundraising and community participation efforts:  a very successful golf outing, a memorable homecoming, a record-setting Parent Dinner Dance, the ELL sweatshirt project, pancake breakfast, Senior Showcase Fashion show, and lots of success with football programs and chaperoning the homecoming dance.  These are just a few of the opportunities our booster members have enjoyed this year.

In the past 10 years, the Boosters have raised over $1,000,000 (!!!) for academic, athletics and co-curricular programs.

Last year was another successful fund-raising year and thanks to the on-going generosity of families and merchants in the GW community, the Boosters raised over $140,000.  These funds were disbursed to support a wide array of academic, athletic, and co-curricular programs at Glenbard West, and our financial grants touch nearly every student in a positive way.  The Glenbard West Boosters funded a language lab last year and a high-ropes course for the physical education department the year,
